Terms & Conditions

These conditions are intended to define the General Conditions of Sale between Miauz and the User, from the act of purchase to the various services provided, such as payment methods and delivery conditions for orders.

ORDERS

The User can place his order online at www.miauz.pt
In order to complete your order successfully, certain personal data will be required such as your email address, name, address, telephone, etc. The User must fill in all mandatory fields for this purpose.
When making an online purchase, the User expresses his full and complete acceptance of the general conditions of sale, prices and description of the products included in this transaction. These general conditions of sale will be the only ones applicable between the two parties. In the absence of product availability, Miauz undertakes to inform the User and refund the amount paid within a period of approximately 14 (Fourteen days) days from the date of knowledge of such unavailability.

DELIVERIES

Your order will be sent after good collection and delivered within 4 working days (after shipment).

Once the order is delivered to the Transport services, Miauz has no responsibility for the shipment. The customer is responsible for presenting the complaint, in case the order is delayed, and communicating the same complaint to Miauz, which will help in resolving the delivery.
*deliveries of orders may, in specific cases, suffer some delay in delivery due to the delivery region, Transport constraints or other problems unrelated to Miauz.
All order receipts must be signed as proof of receipt. Upon reception, the customer becomes responsible for the order, even if it is received by someone else at the indicated address.
If the customer makes a mistake in the address, does not pick up the order within the stipulated time or intends to exchange a product, the return shipping costs are fully borne by the buyer. You must collect the order within the stipulated period. If this does not happen, your order will be returned to MIAUZ and we will contact you later. A fee will be added to this return, which will be borne by the customer. We do not refund the order amount. We send the order again to an address indicated by you. Shipping costs and fees applied will not be refunded and re-shipping costs and return fees will be borne by the customer.

ORDERS DAMAGED IN TRANSPORT

When the carrier delivers your order, check the packaging, and if you detect any anomaly (deterioration, violation, cut) you must immediately refuse the order to the courier responsible for the delivery, and notify us of what happened.
Before accepting the order, you must immediately check if it shows traces of damage resulting from transport, refusing to accept it and noting in the delivery record the refusal to receive it because it is damaged.
Failure to comply with this rule will deprive the customer of subsequent claims.

PRICE POLICY

Prices must be understood in euros, with fees and taxes included. All prices shown include VAT (where applicable) at the legal rate in force. MIAUZ reserves the right to change prices and specifications without prior notice.

 

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

Conditions and procedure for the EXCHANGE:

Miauz accepts exchange of products purchased within 14 days, the request for exchange must be made via email rita.ribeiro@miauz.pt.

– the moment we receive your email, we will confirm receipt of it, as well as the process you must follow.


MIAUZ reserves the right to refuse exchanges outside the established period, or items that are not in the same conditions in which they were purchased.​​

– after requesting the exchange, the article must be sent to the indicated address and according to the instructions given via email.
(Shipping and forwarding costs are the responsibility of the customer)

– the product must be in the same condition as it was sent, without having been opened or used, and:

  • with the original tags;
  • accompanied by the purchase invoice;
  • without any signs of use, odors* or damage to the piece;
  • without any indication of washing, or alterations made by the customer, such as adjustments, hems, seams, among others.

– in order to comply with the exchange period, the communication about the exchange must be carried out before the corresponding period (14 days) ends. If the item arrives within the deadline, it will be refused or returned to the customer, after payment of the shipping costs.

– the receipt and verification of the exchange may take up to 5 business days after receipt.

We ask for your attention to carefully analyze the parts before sending them for exchange. Our analysis is extremely rigorous and if the piece is not intact, the exchange will not be carried out. In this case, the product will be returned to the customer upon payment of postage.

Items received by the exchange department, without prior notice and exchange authorization, will be automatically returned to the sender under the same conditions or returned to the customer upon payment of postage.

Upon receipt of the piece, it will be analyzed and a coupon will be issued in the same amount, which will be sent to the customer via email.

Please note that possible subsequent returns of items purchased with a coupon will always be made using a coupon.

When exchanging promotional items, the value of the coupon will be the amount paid by the customer on the date of purchase of the item. If the subsequent exchange and application of the coupon occurs outside the promotion campaign, the customer will have to pay the remaining amount.

Conditions and procedure for RETURNS:

The customer has the right to return their products due to withdrawal, defect or non-compliance (DL n.º 24/2014 of February 1st).
However, the product must be in the same condition in which it was purchased, without having been opened or used.

– the moment we receive your email, we will confirm receipt of it, as well as the process you must follow.

– after requesting the return, the article must be sent to the indicated address and according to the instructions given via email.
(shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer)

The customer has a period of 14 days to make the return, and the returned goods will only be accepted if they comply with the following conditions:

  • intact package without having been opened or used;
  • with the original tags;
  • accompanied by the purchase invoice;
  • without any signs of use, odors* or damage to the piece;
  • without any indication of washing, or alterations made by the customer, such as adjustments, hems, seams, among others.

In case of violation of any of these points, the return will be refused (and the consequent refund).

The shipping costs and shipping method for returning the item to MIAUZ are the sole responsibility of the customer.

The refund process will only be initiated after receipt and verification of the conditions of the product.

MIAUZ reserves the right to refuse returns communicated or sent after the established deadline, or items that are not in the same conditions in which they were purchased.

On the website www.miauz.pt, the products are made available with the greatest possible accuracy. We draw attention to the fact that some mobile devices, computers and tablets, may change tones and colors, depending on their quality, and mislead the actual colors displayed. MIAUZ is not responsible for the devices used by the customer when visiting our website.

Right not to accept the order or cancel the purchase

MIAUZ reserves the right to cancel any order, even if it has already been confirmed, in the following situations, exempt from liability for any damages or costs:
• The product is no longer available (payments will be refunded);
• The billing information is not correct or verifiable;
• The order being flagged by our Security Systems as an incorrect order or an order susceptible to fraud;
• Payment is not received within 3 calendar days of order acceptance.
